• You can use hyperPad Creator without an account
• Accounts are required only for community features and cloud backups
• We collect only what’s needed to run and improve hyperPad
• We do not sell your personal data
• We may display ads in the future, but we do not allow ads to access private user data
• Analytics are used to improve performance and fix crashes
• Prize shipping info is collected only when needed and not stored long-term

How hyperPad works

hyperPad consists of connected apps that share a single account system:

hyperPad Creator

• Used to create games and interactive projects
• No account required for local use

hyperPad Starter

• A limited version for learning and evaluation
• Includes community access but has usage restrictions

hyperPad Hub

• Available inside of hyperPad apps, or standalone app focused on community features
• Used to browse, play, comment on, and discuss games
• No creation or export tools

Information We Collect

Device and technical information
‍When you use hyperPad, we may collect basic technical information about your device, such as:

• Device type andhardware model
• Operating system and version
  
• App version
• Language and region settings
  
• Crash logs and perfomance diagnostics
  

This information:

• Is used to keep hyperPad stable, fast, and compatible with your device
• Helps us fix bugs and prioritize support for newer and older hardware
  
• Is not used to personally identify you
• Is not sold or shared with advertisers
  

When you use hyperPad without an account
‍We collect anonymous usage data, such as:

• App usage patterns
• Crash reports
• General device and region information (e.g., country)

This data:

• Is not tied to your identity
• Cannot be used to personally identify you
• Is used only to improve stability and performance

When you create an account
To access the Hub and cloud features, we collect:

• Email address
• Display name
• Age (to confirm Hub eligibility)
• Country (via analytics)

This allows us to:

• Secure your account
• Enable community interaction
• Sync projects and backups
• Enforce age requirements

Signing in with Apple or Facebok
If you choose social login, we recieve limited information such as:

• A unique account identifier
• Display name
• Email address (or an Apple relay email)

We do not receive passwords, friends lists, or private messages.

Projects, backups, and community content

If you use Hub features, we store:

• Projects and versions you create

• Projects you share publicly

• Comments, likes, messages, and profile content

• Cloud backups (if enabled)

Public Hub content is visible to other users.

Advertising (now or in the future)

hyperPad does not currently show ads.
In the future, we may display advertising in limited areas, such as:

• Within the hyperPad Hub
• Inside publicly shared, user-created projects

If we introduce ads:

• We will not sell your personal data
• Advertisers will not have access to private messages, backups or account credentials
• Ads do not track you accross other apps or websites
• Any data used will be limited to operating and improving hyperPad

We will update this policy if advertising practices change in a meaningful way.

Promotions, contests, and prizes

If we run promotions or game jams with prizes, we may request:

• Name
• Mailing address
• Phone number (if required for delivery)

This information:

• Is collected only when necessary
• Is typically handled via email
• is not stored in our app databases
• Is not reused for marketing

What we don't do

How we use information

• Operate and maintain hyperPad

• Support moderation and community features
• Highlight relevant content in the Hub

Age requirements

• Hub access requires users to be 13 or older
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13
• If this happens, we will remove it promptly

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information.No system is perfect, but security is taken seriously.
