Setting Content Rating
Specifying the proper content rating and target audience is necessary to comply with regulations around the world, especially if you want to export your hyperPad project to the App Store. This allows your audience to understand an app or game's maturity, while also keeping children safe online. You can set the content rating of your project to reflect the type of content that's in your project - this will affect the type of advertisements that can be served. You can also enable child-directed treatment, and mark your project for audiences under the age of consent in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Economic Area (EEA), and the Children's Online Policy Privacy Act (COPPA).
Content Rating
Content rating helps users understand the level of maturity they can expect in apps and games. This will filter the available ad content that will be served if your project will be displaying advertisements.

Tag for Child-directed Treatment
⚠️ If your project is not serving ads, you do not need to worry about this option.
In accordance to the Children's Online Policy Privacy Act (COPPA), the toggle for Child-directed Treatment must be enabled if your project is targeted towards young children. This prevents interest-based advertising and remarketing advertisements if your project is serving ads. COPPA applies to services with users known to be under the age of 13 in the United States. Other countries may define the age of a child differently in their laws or have different rules applicable to underage users. If your project will be served in other countries, please be aware of those requirements.
Tag for Under Age of Consent
If your project is primarily targeted towards an audience that is under the age of consent, the toggle for Under Age of Consent must be enabled in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related child protection laws such as the Age Appropriate Design Code (AADC). When enabled, data processing is restricted when serving advertisements.
