Finger draw and Zoodle Pad
How are you drawing on it? What app?
Most painting, drawing, and graphic apps in the App Store allow you to create custom sized images. If you have a mac or PC, you can use The Gimp, which is a very powerful free graphics editor like photoshop ($$$).
I'm trying to draw on the C icon to create an icon.
Also I cannot get Sketchclub because of its cost...
What are you using the create the 1024x1024pixel image in the first place? That should just save it in the correct size. I know a lot of users use Sketch Club for creating graphics, it also lets you create specific sized images.
I made it like that on purpose to give a retro feel.
