The collisions are pretty off you can bite without even hitting the spikes

This is horrible, I can't get passed the first level because your collisions are too big!!! When you change this I will rate this game a good rating, but right now it is freaking stupid!

I have sorted the collisions and have added a walking animation along with beeing able to jump to the foreground and background

This will all be realised in the next update

I have a question, how do you add walking animations to characters? I'm working on a game for me and my family, but I don't know how to make animations when you move.

I know is has been a long time but to add a animation for your character you have different sprites (or photos and import them into your project. Then you can go to Joystick Control and for the left and right animations you keep tapping the frames in the order you want them to go in. I hope this helped and you were able to read it. :D

Few things:

  • You really need to adjust the collisions.

  • Space out your spikes. I couldn't even get past the second spikes since they were too close to jump over. I became quite frustrated and quit.

  • Get rid of the controls when the intro is happening. It really ruins the atmosphere you're trying to create. Either move them to the SCENE UI Layers, or use the hide graphic behaviours.

  • Makd it feel more unique. Right now it feels like you just slapped on joystick controlled and jump with button behaviours. Play with the strings, the gravity, and other properties. Make it feel different.

I agree with @Aiden Oxley also the collision could be resized so that the character won't "die" when collided with the empty space in the end of graphic.

Lol I like the story and introduction. Maybe you should add some checkpoints though. You could even make the rat better by adding a simple animation for it; legs and tail move.
