K fine. But I don't want ANYONE making spin offs or copies. EVER.

Ok this seems to be a bug. When I tap post comment it says submitting, but then it stops with the comment still editable. The comment does not appear anywhere until I refresh the page, then it shows up as a new comment. This comment is a reply to yours.

Ok thanks for clearing that up! And sorry about all those comments, it wasn't intentional😄

@Murtaza can someone copright a project on the hub? Not that there's anything to copyright in a tapping game. But in the terms it said stuff about published projects being user content.
September 12, 2016
Yes, but I think there is some confusion on what copyright is, and how it protects you. First, you don't need to pay for a copy right, or file any forms or any thing like that. You just need a way to prove something is yours, and it has a date. Usually people physically mail them selves a copy of what ever they want "protected". Though you can get a lawyer and do it that way too.
Secondly, all it does is give you the right ti define the terms of how you want others to use or reproduce your work. Basically can they only play it? Can they distribute it? Can they share it, can they edit it? etc. By Sharing to the hub, you give hyperPad the right to distribute and share. If you make it open source, you're essentially giving up these rights and saying it's ok to do what you want, with one except, you can't redistribute/use it commercially (meaning someone can't branch your game and then go and sell it).
This also works the other way. For example, for example if you create a Mario game, Nintendo has every right to come and ask us to take it down, because they own the rights and they don't give them up ever. This is why one of the hub rules is to make sure you're not using copyrighted material, and create your own assets. We usually let fan games slide until there is a complaint, or they're blatantly ripping off assets and resources from the original game.

I'm taking this project down. But I want to make it clear that it is NOT because of copyright. If you submit a project to the hub as open source, users are allowed to branch, learn from it, make their own games based off it, and even share it to the hub.
However! If you're sharing a branched project to the hub it must have enough changes to warrant a new version. Nobody wants to see a duplicated project in the hub. Additionally, if you branch a project and it turns out to be some amazingly awesome game that you plan on selling in the App Store. Keep in mind, you will not be able to export your project unless you're the original creator. The only way around this is if the original creator(s) contact us giving permission.
I hope this clears up a few things.

Thanks take it down ok!
September 11, 2016
I can't take it down but we all can report it. So do report this project. Pls and check out flamy's great adventure

@Bacde all you did was add a non-functioning timer! It doesn't work properly, and you haven't taken out anything from the last overlay! Even the Easter egg is still there!
September 11, 2016
I have submitted a copyright violation on my game. If I find you have made another version of my game without permission, you will be permanently banned. I will make sure of it, @Bacde
September 11, 2016
No. This is unacceptable. You have re-uploaded my game without permission. I want this game down RIGHT NOW! This is called copyright, therefore, I am getting a Admin on the case, @Bacde
September 11, 2016
It would have to have the exact same name ok but I'm working on something else so yes I will
September 11, 2016
@Bacde You don't get the point. This is Copyrighted, therefore, you and your friend WILL pay the price for not asking for permission to use my game as a base. This is breaking Copyright law. "Copyright is a legal right created by the law of a country that grants the creator of an ORIGINAL WORK (A.K.A, 100 Taps, MY GAME!) exclusive rights use and distribution. This is usually only for a limited time. The exclusive rights are not absolute, but limited by limitations and expectations to copyright law, including fair use." This just about sums up what copyright is. My game is copyrighted until 2020, and until then, I want this game off here now.
September 11, 2016
So you will tell your friend, the game is off, @Bacde
September 11, 2016
Ok @MISFIT
September 11, 2016
Is that it? K then MISFiT? Seriously. You can take your own game off the hub you know, @Bacde
September 11, 2016
Hub projects can not be deleted @MISFIT
September 11, 2016
Why would you copyright a button tapping game? Anybody can make their own in a matter of minutes.
September 11, 2016
No but this one is mine @iTap Development. This guy copied mine and passes it off as his! So this is my game. Please don't disrespect my choice to copyright my game as it is allowed.
September 11, 2016
Well I'll tell the developers to make it so you can take down games ok if you don't accept then this will be you stab in the back. Forever! @MISFIT

There's a like so you can feel better
September 10, 2016
54Rush is right noone hates you, you just haven't put much effort into your projects. Before you upload, play your own game and think "would other people like this?".
September 10, 2016
Seriously come up with your own idea for a game that would be fun and put effort into it! If you can't figure out how to do something in it with the behaviours ask someone for help, there are a lot of people in hyperPad who will probably help you with behaviours including me.
September 10, 2016
Nobody hates you. Just make games/projects and be mature about it. No need to whine and cry in the game description.
