PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Share this project:

This is a pretty straight up example on how to create a random action with a certain probability to it. It's pretty straight-up and easy but helpful. It's for anyone, but especially as an example for Miniwolfen

All the information is located in the scenes as text and when you branch it in comments in the behavior section of the text called "logic." This can be used for anything from free daily coins in a game, to effects that really make a player feel good about themselves.

If you want me to create any other harder tutorials on saving or whatever else just let me know in the comments. I'm glad to help!

Saving

July 02, 2016

Which part of saving? I gave you these huge paragraphs lol.

July 02, 2016

all of the parts

July 02, 2016

I just want to learn how to save my progress when I beat a level

July 02, 2016

But I took like 30 minutes explaining EXACTLY that!? Did you not understand what I was saying??

July 02, 2016

no I didn't

July 02, 2016

Like, you didn't understanding any of it? The behaviors seemed pretty straight forward.

July 02, 2016

??

July 02, 2016

Haha. I'm pretty sure straightforward is one word btw, even though it hardly matters :)

July 03, 2016

Yeah lol. He hasn't responded... Should I even bother making the tutorial?

July 03, 2016

I feel like a tutorial would help and would make it easier to understand and get the jist of.

July 03, 2016

Sorry I count respond. Been working on the level select .

July 03, 2016

Oh.... Ok! Yes, the tutorial should come out somewhere within a weeks time, maybe 2 weeks. Sorry about the wait, but this tutorial should take way longer and I want to balance my Hyperpad time - working on my own stuff, helping others, and then I'm doing a collaboration, too... So...

However, I can assure you it will definitely help a bunch!

Thanks for the help so far. Remember the project is branchable

July 03, 2016

I'm glad to help! I understand it's branchable, but I'd rather you learn by incorporating this stuff into your project yourself.

July 03, 2016

Thanks

I actaully just published it! It should really help!
