Part of the halloween2019 challenge!

Welcome to Reap! The game based on my old project “Duck Dodge”. You have to run from the Grim Reaper through the forest and avoid the obstacles on the floor!

-Tap to jump.
-All obstacles infront of the fence are colidable.

This Update:
-Customisable characters, just press the shirt button on the menu screen.
-Holliday themed menu and objects.
-Bug fixes and QOL updates.
-The health kit is now a present.

It’s well done, I liked the music as everybody has already said. But there’s really a problem with the difficulty, it’s too simple. I would rather see various dangerous objects and maybe the speed increasing a bit everytime. The animation of the jump is smooth with the transition effect you put tho! Thanks @RobinsonX for that tip! Keep it up!

Thanks for the like and feedback! I’m thinking of increasing some of the objects to deal 2 points of damage rather than 1 and I am going to be introducing a mode that increases the difficulty to see how that goes!

Thank you @Hakan , @RobinsonX and @Hamed for your feedback! I will be taking all of your feedback into consideration, I will change the motion tweens and i agree the jump animation feels very strange. I will also be adding power-ups/ incentives for players to cary on playing and changing the way the obstacles work all together (they were rushed and done poorly). The grim reaper moving closer is something i was working on before i published the game (i am unsure why i decided not to include it) and thank you for the praise!

I like the music.The problem is that there is no change about difficulty.I run about 150 mts but same obstacles keep coming same way.I advice to make it harder as distance inscreases.

Neat. 😀 Here's a tip, try using different motion tweens in your transform behaviors, like Sine In/Out. Especially when the player is jumping, it looks like he is levitating. 🤷‍♂️ You should see it in your transform behaviors like Rotate By,click on Linear and you can change it to any other tweens you prefer. 👍

This is great! I like the music and graphics a lot. The parallax effect is really well done.

Few suggestions:

  • The collisions of the crosses seem to be too large

  • the grim reaper should move closer to you when you crash into something. Similar to temple run.

  • I played it on the iPhone X. But your game over screen positions are all over the place.

  • you should show a running score while you’re playing the game so I know what distance I have.

  • consider using some kind of boosts to keep the player interested
