You need to crop out your sprites a little better. Also, my duck grows twice its size when I turn left or right.

January 27, 2016

There will be 2 types of quests 1. One item quest. Where 1 item is used. 2 Multiple item quest. Where you there is many items you can use to complete quests

Interesting concept. But could use a bit of work. Your character graphic size changes depending on the direction he moves. This is kind of annoying, and jarring. The controls don't feel very good. Since there are no animations, the player is just sliding.. The fact that there are no animations isn't a huge issue, but it just doesn't feel like the character is walking. Take a look at the older zelda games, they do this well.

Also, your instructions placed in the world are not done very well at times. I like how you have the arrows guiding.. But then you have this sentence on actually using the shop. Instead, why not place a "tap" graphic when you get near the shop. That should be clear enough. Or better yet, as you get close just show a menu of different things you can buy (overlays could work here).

Pixel graphics, right? Never really a big fan to be honest. This is not my style so I can't really give feedback. You should figure out a way to connect users online. Then this will be fun. Like if you save people's quests and work together on quests and trade money and then friends talk about it at school and so forth... That's how it could get popular and you can publish to the App Store and start making money...

You know, just a thought (wink, wink)

January 27, 2016

Hyperpad doesn't have anything online you can put in games except for facebook, twitter, and other stuff. I can see why, though. The company probably does not have enough money to make it so you can put connection in your games.

January 27, 2016

Check out the roadmap...hyperpad is going to add http requests in an update.

January 27, 2016

I just checked, it is in the next update according to the roadmap...I think http requests will make it so you can make an online game....I don't know for sure though😜

January 27, 2016

HTTP requests can be used to talk back and forth to a server.. You can technically make an online game, but they're not designed for something real time as there will be lag. It could definitely be used for turn based games where there is a time between each "move". We do have a few ideas for allowing you to create realtime multiplayer, but they are still up in discussions and would be pretty rudimentary behaviours (so we don't handle anything for you.. Up to you to make sure it works with your server).

January 27, 2016

Think you could use google analytics right? Can you make a get analytics behavior or something? I haven't checked the google analytics out yet.

January 27, 2016

Nope. That's not the purpose of analytics. Analytics sends a certain event to the analytic dashboard where you can see how often it occurs. It's not really designed to pull data back into the app.

Also, the analytics are not something real time. They update every 24hr, and not every second. Also, sometimes google Analytics doesn't report everything and they just take a sample of user data instead.

January 27, 2016

Oh thanks. So then there really isn't a way to interact across different devices and networks. Sorry everyone. :(

January 27, 2016

Not yet :). But we're working on it.

January 26, 2016

Guys this is only a work in progress so far. I have spent a while working on this. Feedback is appreciated! Also check out extra credits on YouTube. They have thought me quite a lot and have shown me what not to do when making games. I also what you to give ideas for quests. If they are good enough they might get put into the game. Hope you have fun!

Yours sincerely miniwolfen...

January 26, 2016

Also guys come up with a tag line for the game.

January 26, 2016

It's a pretty cool game but it needs a lot of work....

You definitely need to improve the graphics

Add mini games for quests, like maybe someone need apples from a tree make a mini game where you have to catch apples falling from a tree!

Or maybe someone lost their dog, and you have to find it in a maze!

Can you play my latest game Flip and give me feedback on it?
