I like the idea, and the graphics, and music are great. But I'm not liking the game play.

  • Right from the beginning it was confusing.. I didn't know what to do with the NES console and game cartridge. The concept was very cool, but I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Remember on iOS lock screen it used to say "Slide To Unlock" exactly where you slide? This was because the concept was really unique and no one has seen something like that before. You need to do something to make it clear your supposed to put the cartridge into the console. Maybe use a finger icon that moves up and down indicating what to do?

  • Once the game started, I didn't know how to play. I pressed the only button on screen, and the ball just went flying in the air. Then the button disappeared.

  • Apparently you can move the ball around with your finger. But It's unnecessarily difficult to get it in the net.

  • As @Aidan Oxley mentioned, the reset thing is really annoying. His suggestion would be a great fix.

  • The "tap name to change character" text feels out of place. I'd figure out a better way of doing a character select. Maybe before the game starts?

  • The buttons and text share the same font. In the game playing screen, the name "Sam" is a button, the the text "Player:" is not. They look exactly the same, nothing sets them apart so I thought everything was touchable. The reason I thought everything was touchable was because on your start screen you used this font for buttons.

I think there is a really cool game in here somewhere, just some tweaks needed :).

Having to reset every fail is a bit annoying, you shouldn't make it restart scene but instead move the ball back to original position, also why not have a simple detector for if you fail and if you do it will reset? The ball doesn't go through the basket 😕.
