I think this is a bit early for the hub.. But I won't remove it. As a hint, if you need to add to your description a warning that it is the beginning and more updates soon, then you probably shouldn't be sharing it to the hub yet.

Here are a few tips for the game, that ignore the fact that there is no actual game content yet:

  • Create different views of the player for when he is wallking left, right, or up. Like the real zelda.
  • Your level graphics are very inconsistent. The size of some graphics are scaled, and look really bad.
  • Your ground/floor graphic needs fixing. Search google on making tileable graphics. A tileable graphic is typically something that can be repeated. So if you duplicate it and place it on any side of the original, it lines up and works perfectly. Take a look at the ground assets in our asset shop, they are tileable.
  • Before building out the rest of your game, really focus on the gameplay mechanics. So don't build huge levels, and worlds.. That will just introduce a lot of new problems, and eventually make you discouraged. Start smaller. Start by making your character walk exactly like the zelda game. Once you have that down, move on to the next game play element, make him attack like zelda. Once you have the game working, then you can go and build levels, puzzles and story elements.
  • The big wall of text at the beginning is un needed. First of all, it's not entirely true is it? You didn't make the icon, you didn't make the nintendo logo (which btw, nintendo HATES), and you didn't make the splash screen afterwards. Remove those, then you don't need the warning text. Creating fan games is fine.. Sometimes. It's usually not a problem until nintendo notices and makes it a problem. To avoid issues, you shouldn't use their logos, or take art directly from them. The Hub rule regarding copyrighted assets, is mainly there as a warning. If you're taking artwork from an existing game, you can get in some trouble.. Though before it reaches that point, we typically remove it (at the request of the original copyright holder).

I am going to try to take all of these in consideration in my next game!
