About This Project

This is a small version of John Conway’s Game of Life, a Cellular Automaton. The universe of Conway’s Game of Life is an infinite, two-dimensional orthogonal grid of square cells. This version is a finite universe, the green boundary and beyond are dead zones. Examples of still lifes, oscillators, and others are given. The initial seed pattern can also be randomly generated, or drawn by the user. Have fun exploring!

This is really cool! I love seeing this kind of stuff on hyperPad. It’s always refreshing seeing something other than a game on the hub 😃.

Also nice seeing you back on the hub!

You should try make the other life types or custom life types as well. Also you could try make the draw tool act more like you're drawing (slide my finger along and it draws lots of life cells). There's a game on the App Store called GOLAD (game of life and death) that managed to turn game of life into a turn based game.
