Still really laggy, what is the player?

January 28, 2016

The ice

January 25, 2016

You also need to create a proper icon for your submission. A solid green icon is not going to cut it. It must accurately represent your project. Please have one by the next update of your project!

January 28, 2016

I made that icon finally

January 24, 2016

You want to submit it to AppStore? So you have a developers license and you are going to keep working on this game until it is good like proper App Store games and you are going to make your own graphics. That's what you're gonna have to do to submit it. It's ok so far, a bit laggy with the fire maybe edit the particles and make them more efficient and to your own style, when you start getting a style for this game. I like the idea of this game 🙂, just see you need a lot more work and it won't be going to App Store any time soon.

January 25, 2016

I know I am planning to have the app on the AppStore by March

January 24, 2016

cute. avoid the fire. controls ok so far

January 24, 2016

I'm working on score for survival

January 24, 2016

Will you be a co Dev for the game I am making @Pingywraith

January 24, 2016

I really didn't get the point. There really isn't much here, and it was kind of confusing on how to even start. Maybe it's just a bit too early for the hub.

January 24, 2016

Can two people work on one game without making it open-source for everyone?

January 24, 2016

You would have to email it back and forth.

January 25, 2016

Ok, just like sending from Gamepress to Hyperpad?

January 25, 2016

Similar but a bit easier. If you select the "..." icon on the project (in My Projects), then select email download link, it will generate an email with a temporary link to your project that the other person can open in hyperPad and edit. then they can send it back.

January 25, 2016

Ok thanks.

Idk about this. It's good to a degree but this really needs way more work before it goes on the App Store. I totally understand that it's a beta but it's already too hard, the graphics aren't your own at all, nothing's customized. It should be beta because you have a platform. You've been a member for 10 hours.

Here's what you can do. If you decide to use one of my ideas then you're at the stage that it'll really change your game: -get rid of the jump button. You already jump with the joystick and you can't jump in the air. -maybe make all of your graphics themed. I understand you're making a story mode. You should make it something silly maybe like food themed, or alien themed, or even insect themed. This could decide your games that come after this and can become your logo. -make it one of those high graphic things to spice it up. That's what I did with my first game and a lot of people here on Hyperpad do. They make one simple game and then they add like all of these colors and particles and flashes and it becomes just so visually appealing. I don't know this is good if you're really trying to promote his, but you're just starting. -idk it's way to early and I don't want to be coming up with games right now. I can only give you small feedback based on what you have. Well, good luck!

January 24, 2016

Thanks this will really help

January 24, 2016

You're welcome. Contact me if you want help. I'm glad to help.

Is there a way for us to work together on this project using one account

January 24, 2016

You be part of my Dev Team

January 24, 2016

Send me a message please

January 24, 2016

I tried messaging. It didn't work. I don't know if I want to really be one of the main workers of this app. I mean I'm glad to help and check it maybe twice a week or something and come up with ideas, but not as like a really major "administrator." I don't think we can work on this project using one account. I'll ask Murtaza.

January 24, 2016

Ok thanks

January 24, 2016

I asked Murtaza about the pro messaging it doesn't work atm, broken. I tried it too. Pretty sure it will be fixed soon.

January 25, 2016

Aidan i need ideas on how to make my own graphics

January 25, 2016

Depends on what style you want. If you look at my games Meteor and TAPMOV (I'll be renaming that soon, don't really like the name) the graphics are actually very simple and easy to make, all I did was messed around with particles, all my graphics are just circles and blurry dots. In my Winter Pacman I used photoshop but that takes a bit more skill than just particles. Maybe change the fire particle to something you like and make a simple graphic for the player, rather than an alien, e.g you are a flying icicle and you are trying not to melt by the fire.

January 25, 2016

I'm using SketchPro and Pixely for my graphics. SketchPro I use to make simple objects with cool effects. I use Pixely for basically everything else. If you want something retro for your game then you could make different animation with simple pixel objects. If you want something more or less normal then you could make your drawing on small grid paper and duplicate the rows and columns until you get to 268 by 268 I think. The rest is really all creativity. I like to duplicate two at a time and then refine my drawing. It duplicates everything already but there's always space to make the pixels more and more detailed, until they actually look like a circle, a triangle or whatever when you export them. You could also make funky objects so it's really good for anything if you're willing to really spend time on the graphics.

January 25, 2016

We can email this back and forth. Above Murtaza showed how to so just look over there. Send it to me in like a week or so. Ok?

January 27, 2016

Check out the update

January 28, 2016

I don't really see anything new here. I don't want to work on this because you don't have a solid game or idea and you still want to promote this. The controls are resistant and sort of annoy the player. It really needs more work, even for a beta because it's still published for people to see it.
