I don't get quite how to play. But visually it looks very nice! Thanks! There’s not a lot of gameplay since I didn’t finish the breeding system. The gameplay there is is also pretty unpolished.

For the “racing”, you move the horse vertically by touching anywhere on the screen. You can also make it jump over obstacles with the jump button or boost its speed with the flame button, consuming Qi (the fiery bar on the right).

Bit late but I finally took the time to play through it properly and it’s really good!

I was a bit confused by the vertical “platform” on the left edge of the first level because I assumed you were supposed to jump straight into it and bounce off; it took me a couple tries to realise I needed to hit the edge of the level above it to turn around.

I like the art style and particles, and the concept’s fun. Are you planning to work on it further and add more content?

There is a bug where the results screen doesn't show your final score, but other than that, I think this game is very neat! Thanks! That score display was definitely working at some point, I wonder how I managed to delete that lol.

@Jack8680 Oh man, big difference. I agree it feels better with the shift not having a punish. Cool game! Thanks for trying it again! Glad you like the change, I’m a lot happier with it now than with the jam version haha.

The map shift mechanic is clever makes getting cornered Interesting instead of punishing I dig it Thanks! Unfortunately it wasn’t super rewarding in the jam version because of the health cost. I’ve just uploaded a new version that changes the game pretty drastically if you want to check it out!
