@SparklingWallGames2023 I know I haven’t talked to you in a while. I want to start making games but this is a little hard. Sadly, this is the easiest it gets for me. Can you give a me a tutorial on how to make a pixel platformer game? There are apps on the app store for making pixel art. My advice to you is to focus on the quality of the gameplay over the art, because in the end, the game itself being fun and enjoyable to play is all that truly matters. Just make sprites to the best of your ability, they don't need to be perfect. hyperPad has lots of built in behaviors as well to make your character move, such as the jump with button and move with joystick behaviors. There are also hyperPad tutorials on youtube, those helped me in the past. To summarize, 1. make temporary/base sprites to use while developing, 2. focus on making player movement and some interesting game elements, 3. Go back and fully animate/polish sprites to the best of your ability, 4. use the scene you put all this in as a basis for more levels. One final thing, don't lose motivation, add what you think is fun to play around with. Don't stress over completing your game, remember it will take time. Think of making your game as a fun activity to pass time rather than a task. Hope this helps at least a little bit. Thanks! Fsr my jump button won’t work
