About This Project

A prototype for my biggest project, Kid Emona, a collectathon 2D platformer based on the ninetiesness of the 90s. Controls ↔️ to move A to jump/double jump Let go of ↔️ to slide B to punch ⬇️+B to stomp (↔️↕️)+B underwater to swim

What's New

Version 1.1 • Updated 9/21/2022

I sped up the physics a little bit to make the jumps feel less airy. I also added the first 2 official enemy’s Stumpy and Branchy. This means that Kid Emona now takes damage and can die.

Hello, just a few questions... How did you get your character to do a double jump with the same button and what set up did you have for the collisions with the enemies when you gave the character the ability to punch?

How do u make your animation

Alright, I’ll adjust the control a little bit in the next update. Also about the slimes those are supposed to act as springs, but I made them bounce you in every direction so that it stands out a little more. I’ll change the mechanics of the slime so that it’s a little less bouncy.
