PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Share this project:

Rigged as in "The claw machine is rigged." Ever wanted to play a puzzle game where you could move something anywhere with numbers? If not then this game is not for you. Press edit to see the things you can move and then press test to see if you did it right. I'm not a troll so there are no decimals. It has to be exact numbers. Fun fact: I had to start all over on this project.

VERSION 2.3

Last Updated: September 21, 2022

Added (maybe) better explaining on what to do. If you find any glitches, message me. Don't comment glitches. They might get abused.

I like it, but the way the levels work is a bit confusing. On level one I had to get the player object to the right hand side of the screen, on level 3 I had to get it to touch the black platform. Could you make it a bit more obvious what you have to do in each level, maybe make it have to touch a red or differently coloured object?

December 29, 2015

Black and white is the game's style. Also I will make the imstructions more clear in a while.

December 29, 2015

But when i try to upload a non-incomplete project to hub, why it didn't work???

December 29, 2015

Because you keep on posting incomplete projects. Take a look at your projects. They all have no point.

December 29, 2015

How to delete incomplete games?

December 29, 2015

What I meant was, the hub is not meant for dumb games that have no point. Once you publish something, you have to be sure you are ready because there is no way to delete it.

December 29, 2015

Please helping me publish non-incomplete projects to hub!!! I will never publish incomplete projects to hubs again!!!

I'm not an admin. Go to the learn section and personal help to get help from an admin.

Madness you can publish incomplete games, but you have to make sure you keep working on them and make them better. Also they can't be too incomplete, when I first upload my games they already have a lot of behaviours. Also a lot of your games are the same. There are rules or guide somewhere in the hub that say stuff like this.

Don't comment?

December 29, 2015

Don't comment glitches. They might get abused.

December 29, 2015

Oh, lol

December 29, 2015

I think you need some kind of way to see the position of where things are, because sometimes I knew where I wanted to move the block/triangle/circle but I didn't know the exact coordinates, making it a game of trial and error. Maybe some kind of ruler at the edge of the screen or something.

GUD IDAE

December 29, 2015

It seems alot of people are having trouble learning how to play. Anybody got an idea of how to explain the gameplay?

December 29, 2015

Took me awhile to figure out what to do. The "help" didn't help me at all.

December 28, 2015

Wow, really cool concept. Keep up the good work!

December 28, 2015

After finally figuring out what to do, I think its a really cool concept!

I can easily see this being a witty puzzle type game like World of Goo. Like @Murtaza says, you need to give some clear instructions on how to play the game. The way World of Goo tells the player what to do is through the narrative of the game. For example, they have signs that have some kind of riddle or clue to tell the player how to interact with the level.

I also like how you have different shapes that create different game play elements. But you go through the different shapes too quickly. Have a few levels on how the square interacts with the objective. I think you should exhaust all basic puzzle elements before you introduce the next "Tool", and you can think of these beginning puzzle tools as a sort of tutorial with the tool.

Anyways I think this has a lot of potential and you should definitely keep working on it.

December 28, 2015

I really don't understand what I'm supposed to do at all... Like not even a little bit. I tapped around, entered some numbers, not sure what they do. Pressed test.. Entered different numbers, same thing happened.

What's the goal, why am I playing? What do the numbers do? Try guiding the player with out a giant wall of text of instructions. Use your game to teach the player how to play the game.

December 28, 2015

You actually insert the x and y axis of a specific object. Now that I look at it, it is kind of confusing. Added a help button on the menu.

December 28, 2015

Your help didn't help at all. I'm still very confused at what the purpose is. Whats the game? I just enter coordinates, what should happen? What am I supposed to tap? what am I supposed to do?

December 28, 2015

Ok, finally figured it out. The goal here is to get the little house shape get to the other side, and spawn a block to complete the path. Maybe you should tell people that very important piece of information!

Each level has a different puzzle with a different goal.. maybe make the goal clear. Until I figure outt he goal I'm just typing random numbers until something happens. There are a few ways you can do this: Just show some instruction text saying "Get the thing to the other side!" or maybe even show it visually with some sort of clue... A dashed box in the shape of where your house shape object is supposed to go.. I don't know. But at this point the player has absolutely no idea what to do.

Also, another suggestion, maybe show what the last numbers entered were.. Oh also what would be cool, when you press help is actually shows a grid with the coordinates. Then the player can visualize what's happening.

Overall, a really cool puzzle game that I'd like to see more of. You just need to do a better job at explaining and teaching your players how to actually play.

December 28, 2015

Fun fact: it takes at least an hour to make a level.

This is a complete remake of another project I made that deleted itself. I personally think this one is much more polished though.
